S1.2: Who Did I Grow Up To Be?
At the age of 30 it was like I woke
up from this unconscious state I was living in. If I had
taken the time to look in the mirror, I would not have
recognized the woman looking back at me; IF I HAD TAKEN
THE TIME. I was working 12-14 hour days and if I
wasn’t working, I was thinking about work. I didn’t
know what else to do. I’ve always been a hard-worker,
from the very early age of 10 when I started working with
my family in our manufacturing business. I believed
that I could be anything I wanted to be, if I just worked
hard enough! Check that one off on the eternal to-do-list. "Work
hard enough" was the understatement of the decade.
And unfortunately, I way so busy working hard, I forgot
who, what, why I was working. How did I get so far away
from who I really wanted to be? Come up for air and join
us as we talk about who you grew up to be and how to take
back control of your life. |
Robin Duncan
Robin has transitioned through
her career life on a path parallel to that of many who
come from a working class family, her most apparent exception,
however, being her multi-faceted approach to her career.
She learned about business at an early age through her
direct involvement with her family’s
manufacturing company in Bentonville Arkansas. Business remains
innate in Robin. Equally innate is her ability to envision
beyond systems and infrastructures into ideals that encompass
a
vision of empowerment and service to others.
Robin came to
Austin in 1994 by way of Oklahoma City where she attended
Oklahoma Christian University and received a BS in Communications.
A stint with Sicola Martin and Tramex Travel in Sales and
Marketing prepared her for her current ten-year track with
Dell. Nothing, however, prepared her for her current business
venture as owner of My Party Palace except her ability
to listen to her own inner voice, and the recognition that
at times our children are our greatest
reminders of what truly matters most.
In 2005, Robin’s
daughter sparked a flame that today burns with an inferno-like
fire. Robin found herself creating princess and diva
parties to appease her daughter’s attraction
to tiaras and sparkly attire. Her daughter’s fulfillment
and Robin’s joy in activating her creativity were
the impetus for starting My Party Palace LLC, where birthday
parties are more than cake and games. Robin created My
Party Palace to provide a space for young girls to dress
up in princess attire, while reminding
them that their true beauty originates from inside of
them.
My Party Palace has evolved into a ministry of sorts,
reaching other women and empowering them with an alternate
choice to corporate America by owning their own My
Party Palace and affecting the lives of little girls in
their area.
Robin Duncan is the mother of four children;
Macy, 10, Carter, 6, Graham, 11 months, and Spencer,
2 weeks old. Being a wife and mother, while juggling her
corporate responsibilities at Dell and her entrepreneurial
journey with My Party Palace, remains an ever-evolving
adventure. Robin believes that when she is moving forward
and impassioned by what she does, the challenges of her
life’s fullness is ultimately
quite fulfilling.

SESSION
S1.3: Empowerment through Conscious Language
As co-creators of our reality,
we literally shape life around us with every
thought we project, every word we speak, and each feeling
we experience. We are walking, talking, breathing "transmitters" perpetually
sending and receiving information. What we send out returns
to us, MAGNIFIED. What we believe, we prove right - wether
or not it serves us, our mission, or our highest choices.
As our awareness increases and expands, so also does our
transmission become more potent, expediting our results.
Now is the time for empowering ourselves, our families,
our business practices, our government agencies and representatives
to manifest our TRUE potential! Robert cordially invites
you to remember who you really are and what you came here
to do. Empower yourself to live your full, magnificent
potential - see you at the Remarkable Women's Conference© |
| Robert Tennyson Stevens Robert is the creator and facilitator of a unique curriculum
of personal and professional empowerment technologies,
trainings, and support material. For over 30 years,
Robert has extensively researched, synthesized, enhanced,
and successfully applied innovative methods for achieving
success. He employs masterful understanding of the
influence of spoken language, body language, emotions and
imagination in making and sustaining paradigm shifts in
businesses, government agencies, institutions, organizations,
and in the lives of the individuals he teaches and mentors.
Our Language shapes our reality, focuses
and directs energy, defines and gives boundaries, and is
literally accepted by the subconscious mind.
Our thoughts have tremendous power. If
we become aware of our subtle thoughts, we can become aware
of what we are creating before it manifests. And
when necessary, change our thoughts to adjust our forth-coming
reality. The discipline of awareness establishes
patterns for conscious creation.
When our thoughts continually confirm our hearts desire,
our hearts desire will be our experienced reality.
Conscious Language empowers us to think,
speak, and feel our every word as our hearts desire coming
into manifestation, now, and now, and now...
