Patti Card Smith is president and general manager of KVUE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Austin, Texas, and a Belo subsidiary.  Her career spans over 32 years in the television industry and encompasses positions in the sales, production, promotions and news departments.

One of Smith's core values is service to the community.  Towards that end, Smith personally supports a variety of public service organizations including the Breast Cancer Services for Central Texas Project, Women's Chamber of Commerce of Texas and Austin Habitat for Humanity where she served as the project chairman for the AHFH Executive Women's Build the past two years.  Within her industry, Smith served as past Chairman of the Board of the Texas Association of Broadcasters, the largest and most influential state broadcasting association in the country, and is a member of both AWRT (American Women in Radio and Television) and the Texas Association of Broadcasters Pioneer Club in recognition of her years in Texas broadcasting.

Under her leadership, her station and her staff have been recognized with numerous national honors sighting their "Overall Excellence" within the industry.
